The Harvest Arts Festival is back on this weekend

The events cancelled by last weekend’s nor’easter have been rescheduled to Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4. Nine gardens, music from noon to 8pm on Sunday, Kids Day, a performance at La Plaza, and both climate garden tours. Everything is free.

Saturday, October 3

6B Garden — Annual HarvestFest from 2pm. Music, BBQ, raffle prizes, and The BioBus mobile science lab.

El Sol Brillante — Garden tour, 3 to 4:30pm. Sustainability in Community Gardens with architect Magali Regis.

Sunday, October 4

Green Oasis — Renegade Brunch at noon, then music through 8pm: Hellhounds, Matthieu Eveillard, Susan McKeown and Kyle Sanna, Sparrow and The Truffles, Villa Delirium, Rutherford Jones & the BQE, and Ray Santiago.

El Jardin del Paraiso — Kids Day, 1 to 5pm. Marionettes, Bengali puppets, Coach Rocco George, Son Pecadores, and a staged reading of The Animals’ Lawsuit Against Humanity.

Pancho’s Garden — Los Fascinantes, 1 to 3pm.

La Plaza Cultural — Mudbird 3, a performance by Theresa and Sparrow Byrnes, 3 to 4pm.

Plus Baby Soda and Mitchell Cheng at Miracle Garden, the Ethan Silverman Trio at Sam & Sadie Koenig, the Renaissance Street Singers at First Street, and the LES Power garden tour with Wendy Brawer.

Please note: 11BC Serenity Garden and Creative Little Garden are not able to reschedule their programming. The garden tours are mile-long walks and heavy rain cancels them — RSVP here.
