Sat 9/30, 12–7 pm. The Jack Hardy Circle [DeColores]
SongWriters Workshop. Jack Hardy was a lyrical singer-songwriter and playwright based in Greenwich Village, who was influential in the folk music scenes for decades. In songwriter circles, Hardy was as well-known as a teacher and mentor as he was as an artist. Come and hear this current crop of singer-songwriters.

Mame-Loschen or “Mother Tongue” is a monthly reading series inspired by the Yiddish poets living on the Lower East Side in the early 20th Century, each session welcomes readers to present works by other authors that speak to their personal canon as well as new original works.

Róisín McKeown is a New York-Irish singer-songwriter, whose influences stem from jazz, blues, soul and folk. 
Having grown up between New York’s Lower East Side and Dublin, Ireland, Róisín takes inspiration and cues from both cities, while developing her own sound along with her global community of friends and collaborators.
