Sometimes we’ll play a down-home traditional blues, other times more swing-oriented material, and then there is the New Orleans second-line or funk tune thrown in to keep things lively. Jack Hardy was a lyrical singer-songwriter and playwright based in Greenwich Village, who was influential in the folk music scenes for decades. In songwriter circles, Hardy was as well-known as a teacher and mentor as he was as an artist. Come and hear this current crop of singer-songwriters.
